Peyton Cote

Peyton Cote is a Saskatchewan-born artist and 2026 graduate of OCAD University’s Drawing and Painting program, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours and Distinction. She was also the recipient of the Won Lee Fine Art award 2026.

Peyton has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Canada and the United States. Most recently, her work was featured in OCADU’s 111th Graduate Exhibition. Previous exhibitions include The Way We Draw, ZZZ, Awenda Inspired at the Ada Slaight Gallery, Faces and Traces: A Cross Border Portrait Projectat Stackt-North Gallery and SCENE Metrospace, Size Matters at the Great Hall Gallery, and A Landscape Exhibition at Gallery 1313. Through Faces and Traces, she contributed to exhibition curation and was interviewed by CBC News’ Metro Morning. In 2022, Peyton held a solo exhibition at Bepis Gelato in Saskatoon Sk, presenting paintings created after graduating high school. Alongside her studio practice, she has worked as a graphic designer for the Canadian Earth Observation team and completed commissioned projects for private clients.
